Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon filet wild caught
- 1 extra virgin olive oil
- 1 olive oil spray
- 2 lemons
- 1 dash lemon pepper Trader Joe's
- 1 dash garlic powder to taste
- 1 dash pink himalayan salt to taste
- 1 dash black pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepping the Salmon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse salmon and pat dry. Line baking sheet with tinfoil for easier clean up. Spray with olive oil cooking spray. Lay salmon skin side down. Season lightly with pink salt and pepper. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, juice from half of a lemon (I use a citrus squeezer to get every bit of juice out). Grind lemon pepper on top generously. Add a light dusting of garlic powder on top. Slice 2-4 lemon slices to put on top.
Baking the Salmon
- Bake for 10-15 minutes depending on your oven and the thickness of your fish. Turn broiler on for 2-4 minutes to crisp on the top and finish the cooking process. Fish should flake with a fork without burning or becoming dry. Serve with sautéed asparagus, baked potato or salad! Healthy, fast and delish!
