Ingredients
Cooked Shrimp
- 10 Trader Joe's Uncooked Argentinian Red Shrimp
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 dash salt & pepper (recommend pink Himalayan salt)
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
Pizza
- 1 Trader Joe's Organic Frozen Pizza Crust
- 1/2 cup Trader Joe's Organic Tomato Basil Marinara
- 1/4 cup organic tomatoes sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
- 1/2 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 dash crushed red pepper
- 1/2 cup mozzarella
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cooking the Shrimp
- Thaw the shrimp according to the directions on the package, running it under cold water in a strainer. Once fully thawed, preheat a non-stick pan on medium-high heat. Add one tbsp of olive oil until hot. Add shrimp to the hot pan. Season with pink salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté shrimp until fully cooked (no longer translucent). Transfer to a plate and chop into small bite-sized pieces.
Baking the Pizza
- Thaw frozen crust on the counter for 10-15 minutes while the shrimp are cooking. Preheat oven to 425 deg F. Spray baking sheet lightly with olive oil spray and place pizza crust on top. Spread sauce evenly, leaving a thin edge for the crust. Add chopped shrimp to pizza and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Add tomatoes and basil. Sprinkle cheese lightly on top. Finish with red pepper slices. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are brown and cheese is bubbly – slice and enjoy! And don't forget to take a picture, post, and tag with #jerseyjennskitchen!
